However, with so many different sources out there, how do you choose the best one? The good news is there are several things you can look for to ensure that you find the most relevant and up-to-date information available. Take some time to go through popular tech blogs and find out what kinds of stories they cover. What kind of topics do they write about? Do you think those things are relevant and useful for your business? Then use whatever free tools you have at your disposal—Google Alerts or RSS feeds, for example—to set up a monitoring system that will inform you of new posts on these sites. The best-written post in history won’t do you any good if no one reads it—or shares it. Finding niche content sources that are both relevant and popular can boost your online presence and get people clicking on your links (and hopefully buying from you). It also means more credibility when getting quoted in mainstream publications: No self-respecting reporter would quote an obscure source on a topic he or she isn’t familiar with.
